My Morning Jacket concluded their Red Rocks run with a lengthy, 27-song setlist that once again saw founding guitarist Johnny Quaid join the band for several of their old tunes late in the show.

Among the highlights early on was another performance of the newest MMJ tune “Throwback (When We Were Young)” as well as a debut of Prince’s “Take Me With You,” joining “Purple Rain” and “Controversy” as tunes MMJ has covered following Prince’s untimely death.

To start the encore, the group paid homage to Glenn Frey and the Eagles with a cover of their “Peaceful Easy Feeling,” marking the second time they have covered the song, with the last coming in 2002. To further enhance the throwback encore, Quaid then joined the group for “Holdin On to Black Metal” and “Wordless Chorus.”

A cover of the Commodores’ “Easy” for just the third time ever, with the first two coming in April of 2000. For the finale, Quaid returned to his former bandmates once again for the trio of “Phone Went West,” “Dancefloors” and “One Big Holiday” to bring the night to a close.
