Minnesota will honor Prince tomorrow on what would’ve been the music icon’s 58th birthday by declaring it “Prince Day” in the state.

Governor Mark Dayton and Lt. Governor Tina Smith made it official today, noting that tomorrow is a day to “celebrate Prince’s life and many contributions—not only in arts and culture but also in his many acts of service to his fellow Minnesotans.”

Prince died suddenly on April 21 due to a fentanyl overdose. The singer was found in an elevator at his Paisley Park Estate and was later pronounced dead. He was 57.
