Normally held in Philadelphia over the last nine years, The Roots will bring their Roots Picnic to New York City this October with a two-day event slated for October 1-2 in Bryant Park.

Among those scheduled to perform include an opening night jam with D’Angelo and John Mayer backed by The Roots while the second night is billed as a “love letter to NYC” featuring Wu-Tang Clan, David Byrne and Nile Rodgers all performing backed by The Roots. Also scheduled to perform are Trombone Shorty, X Ambassadors and others.

Tickets will go on sale June 10 at 10 AM via Ticketmaster.
