Guitarist Scott Sharrard played a special show last night at Rockwood Music Hall in New York City, inviting a few of his Gregg Allman Band friends, including the band leader himself, onstage for several songs on the night.

The sit ins kicked off with Bill Sims, who helped out on guitar and vocals on “Catfish,” “Meet Me in the Morning,” “Natural Ball” and “I Shall Be Released” before Gregg Allman Band percussionist Marc Quiñones and keyboardist Peter Levin came up for “8 Days on the Road,” then Allman joined in on “Ain’t Wasting Time No More.” Watch a video of that performance below.

Sims, Quiñones and Levin then stayed around for the show’s final tunes, “Big Legged Woman,” “Blues Shuffle” and “Love Like Kerosene.” Watch a video of the encore performance of “Kerosene” and see the full setlist from the night below.

Sharrard continues his Rockwood residency next Wednesday, June 15.
