Phish continued their tour last night, making their debut at Chicago’s Wrigley Field for the first of their two-night stand at the historic baseball stadium. After kicking off their summer tour earlier this week with a bustout-heavy night in St. Paul, the quartet filled last night’s setlist with several of their live staples, a brand new original and a couple of covers, including the debut of their a cappella take on a David Bowie classic. After a mostly-seamless second set that allowed the band to open up their improvisations a little more and included a set-closing cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Loving Cup,” Phish returned to the stage for the big reveal of the night, a debut of Bowie’s “Space Oddity” that had all four members crowded around a microphone, singing the entire tune a cappella style. The band then closed out the night with a frantic “Run Like an Antelope.”
