After welcoming Donna Jean Godchaux out for the band’s opening night at Citi Field in New York, Dead & Company once again collaborated with the longtime Grateful Dead vocalist on their finale.

This time, Godchaux came out numerous times throughout the show, adding vocals to early takes on “The Music Never Stopped” and “Bertha” in the first set. In the second, the group welcomed her out on renditions of “He’s Gone,” “Help On the Way,” “Franklin’s Tower” and the set closing “I Know You Rider.” For the encore, she once again appeared for “Samson and Delilah” to close the show.

Dead & Company’s summer tour continues tomorrow night near John Mayer’s hometown (the guitarist is from Bridgeport, CT) in Hartford, CT.
