My Morning Jacket’s Jim James and Punch Brothers’ Chris Thile will join Andrew Bird for this week’s installment of ‘Live from the Great Room,” Bird’s Facebook Live performance series.

Streaming live from Bird’s home, past guests have included Blake Mills, John C. Reilly and others. Bird will be joined by James on July 19 at 4:30 PM and Thile will join the fold on July 20 at 4:30 PM as well.

“Going out via Facebook Live,” Bird says in a statement. “I bring in musicians that I think will push me into interesting territory. I’ve always been about showing the process and the never ending quest to get to the heart of a song, and there’s something casual about this whole thing that’s appealing.”
