Jackie Greene made a stop at Levon Helm’s Studio in Woodstock, NY over the weekend and welcomed out a pair of special guests over the course of the two sets along with playing some venue-appropriate covers.

Among the highlights, two first-set Grateful Dead covers as Greene and his band closed the first set with “Scarlet Begonias” and “Fire on the Mountain.” To start the second set, Greene welcomed out Jim Weider, former guitarist for The Band, on “Shaken” and “So Hard to Find My Way.”

From there, Gov’t Mule keyboardist Danny Louis joined Greene on keys for a cover of The Band’s “Ophelia,” also with Weider on guitar. The two stayed out for the following “Tell Me Mama, Tell Me Right” before Louis helped Greene close out the set with the Dead’s “Jack Straw” and The Beatles’ “Don’t Let Me Down.”
