Dead & Company’s tour closer at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA saw them joined by a familiar face as one of the tallest Grateful Dead fans, Bill Walton, came out with The Rhythm Devils during the “Drums” segment to play along.

Walton has documented his Dead & Company tour on his Twitter account, previously making stops at the band’s Folsom Field gigs in Colorado and at a more familiar stop for Walton—Portland, OR where he played four years of NBA basketball for the Blazers.

Last night following the show, Walton wrote, “Thank you Sacramento Deadheads for shining the light & displaying the honor of the golden state.”

The show brings to an end Dead & Company’s announced touring slate, with the group mixing in numerous classics like “Help on the Way” and “Slipknot” to open the show followed by an early “Shakedown Street.” The show closed with a take on “Not Fade Away” before the “U.S. Blues” and “Brokedown Palace” encore.
