In honor of Jerry Garcia’s 74th birthday, The Jerry Garcia Foundation will be donating several pieces of the guitarist’s artwork to select charity partners.

The new pieces, entitled Golden Meadows, Butterfly Study and Mandolin Player, have been selected as gift grants to to charities like Musicians on a Mission, Jerry Day, Bread and Roses, Fender Music Foundation, Psylodelic Gallery, HeadCount, Reverb, Jake Peavy Foundation and Shimer College.

Garcia’s work will also be on display on August 26 at The Jerry Garcia Birthday Celebration at the Strand Center for the Arts in Lakewood, NJ. Rainbow Full of Sound will perform with a host of special guests including Corby Pryor, former Garcia collaborator Tony Saunders and drummer Bob Steeler.
