Tedeschi Trucks Band continued their Wheels of Soul tour with Los Lobos and North Mississippi Allstars over the weekend and continued their run of welcoming members of those bands, including a debut cover in Michigan that featured Los Lobos’ Cesar Rosas.

TTB’s set at Freedom Hill Amphitheatre in Sterling Heights, MI, also featured NMA’s Luther Dickinson helping out on “I Want More,” along with covers of Allen Toussaint’s “Get Out of My Life, Woman,” Bob Dylan’s “You Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere” and more. One of the highlights of the night came when Rosas offered his guitar to a cover of Bobby Womack’s “Across 110th Street,” the first time TTB has played the song live. Watch a video of that performance above.

Tedeschi Trucks continue their tour tonight at the Brady Theater in Tulsa, OK.
