Although Trent Reznor promised new music from Nine Inch Nails in 2016, the band has yet to resurface but seem to be ready to do so in September with a new single titled “Dive and Slam.”

Consequence of Sound reports that a user on Reddit leaked an image from Kobalt Music Group’s internal database listing a September 16 release for a new Nine Inch Nails single called “Dive and Slam.” A song of the same title has been registered to Reznor on ASCAP’s Repertory.

The single’s release may coincide with the release of iOS 10 and an apparent revamping of Reznor’s Apple Music, which he serves as Chief Creative Officer. Apple is set to release its latest operating system in September.

Nine Inch Nails hasn’t resurfaced since 2013’s Hesitation Marks, which was supported by a lengthy world tour.
