Bob Weir announced his new solo album, Blue Mountain, earlier this morning, which marks the Grateful Dead guitarist’s first work of entirely new music in 30 years. Weir will be touring the album with a run of dates in October, and now some insight into his backing band has been revealed.

For his fall tour, Weir will be joined by The National’s Aaron Dessner and Scott and Bryan Devendorf, as well as Yellowbirds’ Josh Kaufman, who produced Blue Mountain. Dessner and Scott Devendorf also lent a hand on the album. Though Bryan Devendorf is a newcomer to the project, the drummer was part of the initial benefit show at TRI Studios in 2012 that served as the genesis for Weir’s new project.
