Gregg Allman has announced he has canceled all his tour dates up to October 16 due to “serious health issues.” Allman also canceled his North Carolina appearance last week due to his health. According to a statement, Allman is “currently under his doctor’s care at the Mayo Clinic.”

The canceled dates include Allman’s appearance at Peach Festival in Scranton, PA, on August 12 and span through Clearwater, FL’s Jazz Festival on October 16. As of now, his first scheduled date back from recovery will be at his Laid Back Festival at Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta, GA, on October 29. All subsequent dates are still on.

“I want to thank my fans and friends for supporting me while I rest up and focus on getting better and back on the road as soon as I can,” Allman says in the released statement. “I’ve been working hard with my band, my pride and joy, to play our music for everyone. We’ll see y’all in October.”
