Last night, Umphrey’s McGee continued their summer tour at White River State Park in Indianapolis, IN, just a few hours south of where the band was initially formed in South Bend, IN.

The first set kicked off with a “Preamble” and bookended the rest of the run with “Mantis,” along with UM staples like “Higgins,” “Hajimemashite” and “Nothing Too Fancy,” plus “Passing,” which hadn’t been heard on an Umphrey’s stage since March of last year.

Set two would return to “Nothing Too Fancy” near the end, but not before a “Cut the Cable”-stuffed “Ocean Billy” and an appreance from The Main Squeeze singer Corey Frye, who helped the band out on a cover of Mark Ronson’s “Daffodils,” the song Ronson recorded featuring Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker. Frye has sat in with the band on several occasions before. Watch a video of the cover above, as posted on Facebook by The Main Squeeze.

The night ended with a cover of Wings’ “Live and Let Die” before the closing callback of the first set’s “1348.” Umphrey’s McGee return to the stage tonight at the Iroquois Amphitheater in Louisville, KY.
