Last night, soul-funk trio Soulive returned to their home-away-from home at Brooklyn Bowl for a private event, and guitarist Eric Krasno took to social media to dub the show “Secret Bowlive,” referring to the group’s annual run at the venue.

“Good to be back with the fam tonight at @brooklynbowl,” Krasno wrote in the post. Although not a proper Bowlive, of course, the show marks the trio’s first trip to Brooklyn Bowl since postponing this year’s run, which usually takes place in March, to an undetermined date later this year.

“When coming to this decision, we kept discussing how we want to ensure that Bowlive continues to remain fresh and we are able to break new musical ground each year with a long list of special guests,” Soulive posted on their website in January. “Moving it to later in the year, when we’ll have new music and more time to hand pick the perfect line-up, will help us achieve that goal. We promise Bowlive will be back, stronger than ever.”
