Gov’t Mule got some help from a host of friends at their festival-closing set at Peach last night, which was extended following a cancelation from Gregg Allman.

Throughout the show, Mule called on a variety of close associates including The Black Crowes’ Rich Robinson, who played earlier in the day with his solo band. Together, the ensemble tackled the Crowes’ own “Sometimes Salvation” towards the end of he set.

The three-song encore kicked off with “Come & Go Blues” that saw three members of current tourmates Blackberry Smoke—Charlie Starr, Brit Turner and Brandon Still—join the fold. For the following Allman Brothers Band favorite “Dreams,” Oteil Burbridge joined Mule, Starr and Turner before the closing “Whipping Post” featuring both Starr and Turner once again.

Mule and Blackberry Smoke resume their tour tomorrow night in Utica, NY.
