This past weekend marked the return of Strangefolk’s Garden of Eden event, which took place for the first time since 2006 at Stateside Amphitheater at Vermont’s Jay Peak Resort. The event brought together the band’s original lineup, which reunited in 2012 behind frontman Reid Genauer, who left Strangefolk and went on to form Assembly of Dust in 2002.

Strangefolk played two nights and four sets of music, kicking it off with a Friday show that featured classic originals, covers like The Beatle’s “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” and a brand new tune in “California Luck.” The band also welcomed Percy Hill, who were also playing the event, for a two-song encore.

On Saturday night, Strangefolk returned to the stage for two more sets that featured keyboardist Jason Crosby throughout and included guest spots from Ryan Montbleau, Yahuba Garcia and Turtle Invasion.

See the two setlists and watch a video of Strangefolk’s first Saturday set below.
