Gov’t Mule continued their run of shows with Blackberry Smoke last night at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia, once again welcoming a member of the opening act to help them out on a couple tunes.

Mule’s one-set affair included lots of teases and segues, including a run of Prince’s “When Doves Cry” woven in with “Beautifully Broken,” a clip of which can be viewed below. The night was rounded out with a two song encore during which Warren Haynes and company welcomed out Blackberry Smoke guitarist Charlie Starr for covers of Faces’ “Stay With Me” and The Rolling Stones’ “Ventilator Blues.” Watch the beginning of the encore above.

Gov’t Mule and Blackberry Smoke with play tonight at Pittsburgh’s Stage AE.
