Fresh off his weeklong residency at the Catalina Jazz Club in Los Angeles with his Elektric Band, Chick Corea has announced several tour dates with multiple band lineups as part of his 75th birthday celebration this year, which will culminate in a two-month residency at New York’s Blue Note.

The legendary keyboardist and composer will play an October run in the Eastern US with his Elektric Band, which features Dave Weckl, John Patitucci, Eric Marienthal and Frank Gambale, and will also play US shows with his Trilogy featuring Eddie Gomez and Brian Blade in September and early October. Corea will take another Trilogy, featuring Avishai Cohen and Marcus Gilmore, on a short world tour that follows Corea’s duet shows with Gary Burton in Italy and France.
