After the 2015 tribute show to Jerry Garcia, dubbed “Dear Jerry,” at Merriweather Post Pavilion, the second edition will take place over two nights in October as “Dear Jerry: Let’s Play 2” comes to Washington, DC and Virginia.

According to Rolling Stone, the first show, October 14 at Washington, DC’s DAR Constitution Hall, will be “Jerry Uncovered: Exploring Jerry Garcia through the JGB Songbook,” featuring performances from Warren Haynes, Alison Krauss, John Medeski, Don Was, Jamey Johnson, Raymond Weber and more.

October 15’s show at Fairfax, VA’s Eaglebank Arena, Haynes will be joined by The Avett Brothers and other special guests as the ensemble recreates an October 1986 Jerry Garcia Band show that marked his return to the stage.

Tickets will go on sale as a part of a pre-sale on August 30 with a general on-sale taking place September 1 at 10 AM. For more information, visit the “Dear Jerry: Let’s Play 2” site.
