Brooklyn Comes Alive will take place on October 22 with a range of collaborative performances, the newest being a one-off supergroup featuring drummer Joe Russo, guitarist Scott Metzger, keyboardist Robert Walter and bassist Andy Hess.

Russo and Metzger play together in Russo’s Almost Dead project, while Walter plays with the Greyboy Allstars and Mike Gordon’s band, and Hess has played with Gov’t Mule and The Black Crowes. Russo also played for years in Walter’s 20th Congress band.

The collaboration joins other announced Brooklyn Comes Alive performances like The All Brothers Band featuring Neal and Alan Evans and Oteil and Kofi Burbridge, Reed Mathis’ Electric Beethoven, the Break Science/Disco Biscuits mashup Breaking Biscuits and more.
