Ron Howard’s upcoming documentary, The Beatles: Eight Days a Week – The Touring Years, is set for theatrical release on September 15, and Stevie Van Zandt, guitarist for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, has announced he will be hosting the New York premiere of the film on that same day.

The event will also benefit The Rock and Roll Forever Foundation, which Van Zandt started to help keep music programs in schools, and will honor teachers by asking donors to help a number of them attend the premiere and bring the documentary into their classrooms.
