Dave Matthews Band played their final show until 2018 last night at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA as they now embark on a year long hiatus, announced before the tour began.

While the 20-song set didn’t feature too many surprises, the group appropriately leaned on some of their finest work, with 12 songs coming from their first three records, Under the Table and Dreaming, Crash and Before These Crowded Streets.

The band did welcome out a couple of special guests throughout, as Carlos Malta once again joined in on jams like “Say Goodbye,” Daniel Lanois’ “The Maker” and “Typical Situation” towards the end of the show.

Longtime crew member Joe Lawlor also came out on “Rhyme & Reason,” a song he has played on 14 times dating back to 2006.

DMB closed the show with a four song run that drew on some of their finest material, including a set-closing pairing of “The Last Stop” and “Ants Marching” before returning for a two-song encore of “Pig” and “Stay (Wasting Time)” before departing.
