On December 16, New Jersey’s BuzzUniverse will reunite for one night only with a show at Teaneck, NJ’s Mexicali Live, marking the first time the band has played together in almost five years.

BuzzUniverse began in 2003 and released four albums and toured extensively until their final show in August 2012. The group played festivals like Mountian Jam, Gathering of the Vibes and FloydFest and venues like New York’s Brooklyn Bowl and Bowery Ballroom. They also were nominated for Best New Groove at the Jammy Awards and won Relix Magazine’s Jam-Off competition with their track “Hour.”

The band consists of Alex Garay, Gregory McLoughlin, Brian Ciufo and Dave Migliore and will be joined by special guests for the one-off reunion, which celebrates the 10-year anniversary of the release of their album, birdfishtree. Tickets are on sale now.
