It appears as if Zac Brown Band are readying to record the follow up to Jekyll & Hyde that will find them returning to their roots, much like 2008’s The Foundation.

“We’re going in this winter to make a brand new ZBB record,” Brown says as he’s flanked by his band in a video posted to the band’s Twitter. “Straight back to our roots, Foundation style. It’s going to be an amazing album.”

ZBB’s 2015 effort Jekyll + Hyde saw them venture off from the folk/country twist that endeared them to so many on earlier records. More electronic-laced tunes like “Beautiful Drug” and a hard rock collab with Chris Cornell on “Heavy is the Head” anchored the record that just recently went platinum.
