Former Rage Against the Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha has released a new single, “Digging for Windows,” his first new solo music in over ten years.

The brash new tune was produced by Run the Jewels’ El-P, with whom De la Rocha worked on 2014’s Run the Jewels 2, and features guitar by Matt Sweeney and keys by Nick Hook and cover art from the late Manuel Alvarez Bravo, according to De la Rocha. Listen to “Digging for Windows” below.

As Rolling Stone reports, new music from De la Rocha has been long rumored. In 2015, RATM and Prophets of Rage bassist Tim Commerford talked to the magazine about De la Rocha’s constant work, referring to the EP that De la Rocha put out with Jon Theodore in 2008, One Day as a Lion:

“He’s been working his ass off here in the last couple of years,” Commerford said. “The kid is an amazing musician. He built a studio in his house, and he’s there all the time making a One Day as a Lion full album. That’s his band, and he’s a ‘one band’ kind of guy.”
