Phil Lesh opened up a two-night stand at the new Ford Amphitheater in Coney Island last night, delivering a night of Grateful Dead favorites with an all-star lineup featuring Soulive, Jackie Greene and more.

The collective injected some unique approaches to the iconic tunes, with Lesh & Friends regulars like Greene and Jason Crosby teaming with relative newcomers like Krasno, his Soulive bandmates Neal and Alan Evans, Karl Denson and The Shady Horns. The night featured staples like “Althea,” “The Other One” and “Dancing in the Streets” during the first set, while “Shakedown Street,” “Viola Lee Blues” and a closing run of “Slipknot!” into “Franklin’s Tower” were featured in the second. The collective rounded out the night with a “Not Fade Away” encore. Watch videos from the night above and below, and see more from the show from YouTube user sgibson818 here.

Lesh and company finish up their Coney Island run tonight in a show that will again be webcast via nugs.tv. The stream can be purchased here.
