New York City’s Central Park hosted Global Citizen Festival yesterday as the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Metallica, Rihanna and more took the stage. Also included in the day’s performance was Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, who performed with his aforementioned Seattle-based band last year and served as more of a special guest this time around.

First up, Vedder joined Yusuf/Cat Stevens on his classic “Father Son” before later teaming up with Coldplay’s Chris Martin for a brief set that included a take on Pearl Jam’s “Nothingman” led by Vedder and accompanied by Martin on piano. The duo also tackled Patti Smith’s “People Have the Power” and Crowded House’s “Don’t Dream It’s Over.”

Watch a selection of those performances here.
