Gov’t Mule brought their tour to The Fillmore on Miami Beach last night as the group collaborated with drummer Jason Bonham to mark the 36th anniversary since Jason’s father, the legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, passed away.

Bonham, who most notably helmed Led Zeppelin’s 2007 reunion, joined Mule to kick off their second set with a pair of Zeppelin tunes in “Since I’ve Been Loving You” and “No Quarter,” replacing Mule drummer Matt Abts.

Mule announced the collaboration on Instagram with the above photo and the caption #36yearsgone, representing the tribute to Bonham, who died in his sleep in 1980.
