Bob Weir stopped at Amoeba Music in Hollywood, CA yesterday for an in-store performance surrounding the upcoming release of his solo record Blue Mountain.

Weir started the seven-song set by himself, with takes on Son House’s “Walkin’ Blues” and Dylan’s “When I Paint My Masterpiece” as well as the title track from his forthcoming record before welcoming out guitarist and Blue Mountain producer Josh Kaufman to help with the final four songs of the night.

Together, Weir and Kaufman offered up the live debut of “Only a River,” which was played over the PA during Weir’s New York City preview of Blue Mountain. The duo also tackled “Lay My Lily Down” as well as “Peggy-O” before the “Ki-Yi Bossie” closer.
