David Gilmour is in the midst of a multi-night run at London’s Royal Albert Hall to close out his extensive world tour in support of last year’s Rattle That Lock, and last night, the Pink Floyd icon brought out an unexpected guest in actor Benedict Cumberbatch.
After two sets that featured tracks from that album along with Pink Floyd classics like “Money,” “Wish You Were Here,” “The Great Gig in the Sky” and “Us and Them,” Gilmour kicked off the encore with “Time” and “Breathe (Reprise)” before bringing Cumberbatch out to lend his vocals to “Comfortably Numb” to close out the concert. Watch a video of that performance above.
Gilmour returns to the Royal Albert Hall stage tonight and tomorrow to close out his tour.
