Howard Stern will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ iconic Revolver record with a special episode featuring various artists covering tunes from the album.

Among those slated to appear on the episode set for air October 7 on Stern’s SiriusXM channel, Gov’t Mule (“And Your Bird Can Sing”), J Mascis (“Doctor Robert”), Jewel (“Eleanor Rigby”), James Taylor (“Here, There and Everywhere”), Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats (“Got to Get You Into My Life”) and other contributions from Grace Potter, Milk Carton Kids, Joe Bonamassa, O.A.R. and more.

Revolver to me is the best album the Beatles ever did,” Stern said on his show. “There was nothing like it when the album came out.” The record celebrated its 50th birthday on August 5.

Grace Potter appears on the cover of the current issue of Relix, in conversation with Bonnie Raitt.
