Joe Russo’s Almost Dead wrapped up their three night run at the Brooklyn Bowl with a show that called on numerous Dead favorites.

The first set was highlighted by an early take on “Eyes of the World” as well as a nod to the late Merle Haggard with “Mama Tried” before the “Morning Dew” closer.

In the second set, the band anchored the finale with extended takes on “Crazy Fingers,” “Truckin’” and “Estimated Prophet” before inviting Chris Harford out for a cover of Neil Young’s “Hippie Dream” to close the set.

Harford is a member of Band of Changes which has previously featured Almost Dead members Joe Russo, Dave Dreiwitz and Scott Metzger.

Almost Dead return to the stage November 11 in San Diego, CA.
