On December 11, The Bluegrass Situation will present A Tribute to the Music of Linda Ronstadt, an evening of performances honoring the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame singer with music from Grace Potter, Jackson Browne, Dawes, Sara Watkins and more.

The night will also feature Maria Muldaur, JD Souther, Gaby Moreno, David Lindley and The Watkins Family Hour, along with I’m With Her, a group that includes Watkins, Aoife O’Donovan and Sarah Jarosz.

All proceeds from the event, which will take place at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. As Billboard reports, Ronstadt revealed her Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2013 and said that she could no longer sing.

Potter talked to Billboard about her love of Ronstadt’s music, saying, “I used to dig through my parents’ record collection and gush over Linda Ronstadt records. I remember listening to her and sensing she was not just a pretty gal singing great songs. I felt like she was speaking directly to me through the music, because it’s not only her voice; it’s her presence. She showed up at a time when the world needed a proper woman. She is forever woven into the fabric of rock ‘n’ roll history, and I can’t think of a better cause or a more worthy human to be honored in such a special way. I am so proud to be a part of this meaningful tribute.”
