On Election Day, November 8, voter registration non-profit HeadCount will host a special musical event at Brooklyn Bowl dubbed “Soundtrack to History,” featuring Matt Butler’s revolving-door jam session Everyone Orchestra, featuring Steve Kimock along with members of The Disco Biscuits, moe., Snarky Puppy and more.

Joining conductor Butler and guitarist Kimock will be Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner of The Disco Biscuits, moe. drummer Vinnie Amico, The Snarky Puppy Horns, Big Gigantic’s Jeremy Salken, Natalie Cressman and former Motet vocalist Jans Ingber. Additional guests will be announced later. Ticketing information is available here.

Election results will be posted on the venue’s screens throughout the night as the collected musicians improvise onstage in reaction to the polls and the audience in attendance. The event is also being sponsored by Magic Hat Brewing Company.

“We’re giving fans a chance to have a shared musical experience on a night they may remember the rest of their lives,” says Brownstein, a co-founder and co-chair of HeadCount. “We’ve always wanted to do something like this, and Everyone Orchestra is a perfect musical outlet to make it happen.”
