Last night, Dave Matthews participated in a benefit for Turnaround: Arts, an organization focused on bringing arts education to schools, which was in support of those opposing the Standing Rock pipeline construction in North Dakota.

The set marked Matthews’ first ever live appearance in the state and featured him playing solo on DMB cuts “Samurai Cop,” “So Damn Lucky,” “You & Me,” “One Sweet World” and the appropriately Native American-inspired “Don’t Drink the Water,” which featured a foray into “This Land is Your Land.”

The show ended with a classic Matthews closer, a cover of Bob Dylan’s “All Along the Watchtower,” for which Matthews was joined onstage by Ledisi, Native American hip hop artists and speaker Mic Jordan and more. Watch a video of the performance above.
