This weekend, The Avett Brothers, Warren Haynes and more will tribute the music of Jerry Garcia with “Dear Jerry: This is 30!,” a sequel to last year’s Dear Jerry tribute concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion.
The Avett Brothers have shared a video previewing the event, with Bob Crawford talking about his first time seeing Garcia play, his favorite Garcia song and more. Watch the video below.
The show, which will take place at Fairfax, VA’s EagleBank Arena at George Mason University, will recreate a classic Jerry Garcia Band show from October 1986, along with performances of other Garcia favorites. Ticketing and more information is available here.
