Following the news of Chris Wood’s hospitalization due to an intestinal blockage, John Medeski and Billy Martin will play their shows at New York’s Le Poisson Rouge with two replacement dates added.

On October 19, Medeski will be joined by the Campbell Brothers before Wilco guitarist Nels Cline joins the fold for Medeski, Martin & Cline on October 20.

Wood was hospitalized on October 11 with an intestinal blockage and underwent successful surgery. Wood, who is currently recovering and under doctor’s orders to rest, was in the midst of a tour with The Wood Brothers (the band postponed several shows) and slated to rejoin MMW for three nights at LPR. Those shows have been rescheduled for January 16-18.
