Umphrey’s McGee brought their fall tour to Philadelphia last night for a two-set show at The Fillmore that featured several acoustic tunes and a sit in from Marc Brownstein, bassist for Philly jamband icons The Disco Biscuits.

After a first set that featured acoustic guitar takes of “Gone for Good,” “Great American” and “Dim Sun,” Umphrey’s came out for the second frame with list staples like “Nothing Too Fancy,” which bookended the set, and “JaJunk” before they welcomed out Brownstein to replace Ryan Stasik on bass for “In the Kitchen.” The second set also featured a cover of Sturgill Simpson’s version of Nirvana’s “In Bloom.”

Umphrey’s McGee will return to the Fillmore stage tonight for round two. The show will be webcast via TourGigs.
