My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James will release his new solo record, Eternally Even, next week on November 4, and today, NPR has premiered the album in full.

When James first announced the album, which follows up his 2013 solo effort, Regions of Light and Sound of God, the singer-songwriter said he wanted to “make an album that hopefully speaks to the issues of the day, many of which, sadly, are issues we have been dealing with since the beginning of time.
