Gov’t Mule celebrated Halloween early with a second set comprised of Traffic tunes aided by special guests saxophonist Steve Elson and percussionist Bobby Allende.

Among the highlights, a number of Mule debuts in the second set including Traffic’s “Stranger to Himself,” “Rock & Roll Stew,” “Forty Thousand Headmen,” “Freedom Rider,” “Light Up or Leave Me Alone” and much more to go along with previously played songs “Pearly Queen,” “Glad,” “Empty Pages” and “Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys.”

The Traffic theme didn’t stop there as the band peppered their encore with two more songs from the Brit rockers, closing the show with another take on “(Sometimes I Feel So) Uninspired” and “Dear Mr. Fantasy.”

Mule’s Halloween celebration continues tonight in Montreal.
