Pink Talking Fish kicked off their fall tour last night with a stop at the Charleston Pour House and played an election-themed set as they mixed in the tunes of Pink Floyd, Phish and Talking Heads.

Among the highlights, an opening trio of “Run Like Hell,” “Making Flippy Floppy” (“Our President’s crazy”) and “Wilson,” the last of which featured a foray into Pink Floyd’s “Mother” with the lyric, “Mother should I run for President?”

The band also blended in the phrase “Hell is coming” to “Halley’s Comet” in the first set before focusing on a more positive second set, hitting on tunes like “Nothing But Flowers,” “Free,” “Fearless” and a brief run into “Bug.”

According to the band, the encore was dedicated to President-elect Trump with a triple showing of “Mexican Cousin” and “Burning Down the House” before the closer of “Good Times Bad Times.”
