The New Orleans Suspects will host their third annual Turkey Jam this weekend. The hometown performance will take place at New Orleans’ The Maple Leaf tomorrow, Saturday, November 26. The venue promises, “We are having a good ol-fashioned neighborhood party featuring many of our favorite musicians in the city, hosted by the New Orleans Suspects!”

Formed during a Big Easy pickup session, The New Orleans Suspects consists of Willie Green (Neville Brothers), Jake Eckert (Dirty Dozen Brass Band), Jeff Watkins (James Brown Band), C.R. Gruver (Outformation) and Charlie Wooton (Royal Southern Brotherhood).The group will also perform at New Orleans’ Joy Theater this evening as part of The Last Waltz-New Orleans. That show will boast appearances by Dave Malone (The Radiators), Reggie Scanlan (The Radiators), Honey Island Swamp Band, The Bonerama Horns, Papa Mali, John “Papa” Gros, Johnny Sansone, John Mooney, Terence Higgins, Ron Johnson, CR Gruver, Jake Eckert, Johnny Sketch, Dave Pomerleau, Dave Jordan and the NIA, Darcy Malone, Robert Mercurio (Galactic), Bert Cotton and Billy Iuso.
