Fleet Foxes continue to plot their return in 2017, as frontman Robin Pecknold has revealed that the band will hit the road for a full world tour in 2017–18. The news comes after the preliminary announcement of three European shows and multiple hints of a new album.

On a new post on the Fleet Foxes Facebook page, Pecknold writes, “I’ve been getting some messages on Instagram from people intending to fly / travel long distances to see us in Ireland in July; Iveagh Gardens wanted to announce the show early, but we’ll be doing a full world tour in 2017-18 so no need to spend a lot on travel! Let the band come to you.”

Fleet Foxes have already announced an appearance at Spain’s BBK Live and Vida festivals and a show at Iveagh Gardens in Dublin, Ireland, and Pecknold has said that the band is nearing completion on their third album, which will be their first since 2011’s Helplessness Blues.
