On December 14, Brooklyn Bowl is hosting The Songs of Barlow, an all-star tribute to legendary poet and activist John Perry Barlow, the longtime songwriting partner of Bob Weir and the Grateful Dead, and the event will be available as a webcast via Nugs.tv. The concert and webcast will raise money for Barlow’s medical expenses, which have mounted over the past year and a half due to various ailments.

The house band for the night will be made up of The Terrapin Family Band, now billed as The Songs of Barlow, which features Grahame Lesh, Ross James, Alex Koford and Scott Padden. Also joining the lineup will be Soulive/Lettuce guitarist Eric Krasno, Jackie Greene, DJ Logic, Ryan Adam’s & The Cardinals’ Jon Graboff, Marco Benevento bassist Karina Rykman, Katie Jacoby, Dark Star Orchestra’s Rob Barraco, Leslie Mendelson and more.

Proceeds from the Brooklyn Bowl show and webcast will go to benefit the John Perry Barlow Wellness Trust. More information and ticketing can be found here.
