Strings & Sol wrapped up in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, last night, rounding out the all-star lineup of bluegrass acts playing multiple sets. Headliners Greensky Bluegrass got into the collaborative spirit for the final night, welcoming members of Railroad Earth, Infamous Stringdusters, Leftover Salmon and more to the stage.

On the previous day, Greensky played a poolside set that featured some Top Gun and “Tequila” teases, along with sit ins from crew members Andrew Lincoln and Keith Kinnear on Dave Mason’s “Feelin’ Alright.” Railroad Earth also debuted a Bob Dylan cover during the day, closing out their own set with “Every Grain of Sand.”

Last night, Greensky put on a guest-filled performance of originals and covers, starting the sit ins with Railroad Earth’s Andy Gossling and Duke Davis for “Miss September” and continuing with most of the Stringdusters and Nicki Bluhm for JJ Cale’s “After Midnight.” The night also featured RRE’s Tim Carbone on “Handle with Care,” Danny Barnes and Larry Keel on “I’d Probably Kill You” and Leftover Salmon’s Drew Emmitt on “Kerosene.”
