The Wood Brothers have announced they will release Live at the Barn, their live follow up to last year’s Paradise, on January 13 via Honey Jar/Thirty Tigers.

The new album was recorded live at Levon Helm’s legendary Upstate New York studio and concert space, where the band met and formed a lasting bond with the late Band drummer, leading Oliver Wood to name his son Levon. Live at the Barn was recorded at The Wood Brothers first performance at the Barn since Helm’s passing in 2012, when they took the stage on August 19 of this year.

“We’re huge fans of Levon’s and count him as a big influence,” says Wood. “Since we actually got to know him, his influence was more than musical—it was personal. He was one of those unique and powerful personalities, and I’ll always remember how gracious he was. We also got to know Levon’s daughter Amy quite well and have had great tours and collaborations with her. She’s a beautiful soul just like her dad, and we have fond memories of playing with both of them in that barn.”
