Blues Traveler have just released a new holiday song for a good cause, sharing their version of “Go Tell It on the Mountain” to benefit The Salvation Army.

All the proceeds from downloads of the tune will go directly to the organization, which helps to feed and shelter those in need and has become almost synonymous with the holiday season with their iconic Red Kettles.

“After learning all the ways the Salvation Army helps people in need, we wanted to help too,” says Blues Traveler frontman John Popper. “Their impact on feeding and sheltering people who need it most is undeniable, and we are grateful.”

Blues Traveler’s “Go Tell It on the Mountain” is available on iTunes, Amazon and through the band’s website.
