Robin Pecknold has kept fans updated on the progress of the new Fleet Foxes record and yesterday, as Stereogum uncovered, the frontman let it slip that the album will be called Ylajali before deleting the Instagram post.

Screenshots of the post suggest that the album will feature eleven tracks and finds them now on Nonesuch Records. Reddit dove deeper, suggesting the album’s title is reportedly derived from a character in the 1890 Norwegian novel titled Hunger by Knut Hamsun.

While we await official confirmation, what is known is that the band will make their live return in 2017 with a run across Europe with festival gigs booked in Spain and Ireland so far.
